On Trojan Horses, The #Goonpopulous & Worldwide Pedo Busts

Hello internet,

The progressive and tolerant #goonpopulous showed its ass off at yet again, this time at Berkeley University the night before last.  The violent protest, or riot, is said to have been initiated over a homosexual journalist named Milo Yiannopolis of Breitbart News  , being scheduled to give a talk.  I know, crazy right?

Now, if you haven’t witnessed the violent temper tantrum just yet, or simply don’t believe me, take a look at the footage in the videos below.

If you are currently or recently have been setting things on fire, damaging property, physically assaulting individuals or groups with opposing views, funding or organizing this angry mob, or blindly accepting and spreading ‘news’ with no actual evidence behind it, the statement in this new piece may be meant for you.

On Trojan Horses

“Perhaps you were transformed into an ill-informed simpleton by the prolonged misuse of ‘smart’ technology.”

If the statement above happens to apply to you, know that the revolution has happened already & you missed it. I’d like to include this urgent message of 4 Beatles from across time for the #goonpopulous

Listen carefully.

On a brighter note, the worldwide pedophile ring is unraveling fast. Tons of arrests made around the planet. 474 arrests made, I believe on February 2, 2017, in Los Angeles alone. Google it for more info.

And they said it was a conspiracy.

On Internet Ghettos

Hello internet,

Internet ghettos very often, are one of two things. They are safe lullaby chambers where one will coo while being soothed with only what is ideologically acceptable to them, or heavily fortified keeps where one can rage with little hope of affecting change. I would also add that the Internet ghetto, for the truly deranged, acts as a mirrored echo chamber base of operations from which the user’s image is repeatedly thrust into the matrix and reflected back at them. Desperate pleas such as “Look at me, look at me, look at me!” reverberate throughout the system, add infinitum.  What shall we do now?

What about a holiday? I have always taken breaks for social media, mainly to create new work, but since 2013, the breaks have become longer and more contemplative. It’s funny how clear things can become, both internally and externally, once you pull the matrix plug out of your ass and start walking in the waking world again. I won’t say that disengaging from the system is a cure for all ailments, but it’s a start, and when you reenter the internet ghetto of your choice, either for leisure or necessity, you see the construct for what it is and not what it appears to be.

Charcoal Drawing – ZEROG RAINBO GODRA & The Shit Storm

Hello again art lovers,

I hope you have all been well.

Its been a couple of weeks since I’ve typed up a new post.  I wish I could say that I have been enjoying leisurely days, taking a vacation from the internet, or producing new art, but unfortunately, it was only one of those shit storms that we’re all familiar with.  You know, the ones that pop up now and again that put most everything else on hold?  The shit storm has a kinder name in the Hermetic Principles. It’s known as the “Back swing” contained in the principle of rhythm.  Thankfully, I think the backswing is about over and I’m getting ready for the upswing.

Enough about that.  Just before the “Back swing” I was able to set down and formulate some new ideas for art works.  Some of my collectors may be thrilled.  These potential art works will see a return to the mediums of charcoal sticks and oil paint.  I haven’t been away from oil for very long, but charcoal is another story.  It’s probably been a few years since I’ve created any serious charcoal work.  That being said, I managed to crank out a quick study of my ZEROG RAINBOW GODRA character a couple of weeks back.  I hope you like it.

Until next time, have a great week.

Experimenting With The Packaging – Prototypes For New Art

Hello again art lovers,

I hope you’re well.

I’m alright.  Quite a bit has been going on.  I’ve been making tons of art, but I’m not sure if everything I’ve made will make my final cut for new work.  I’ve been bouncing the same ideas around in my head for a while and lately, I’ve been experimenting with the “Packaging” of these ideas.  I’ve found three to four different ways to present every idea and yes, my 6 year-old still isn’t happy about his “Missing” construction paper.  That being said, I am posting photos below of some of the things I’ve been working on.  Feel free to let me know what you think.

Sharpie, ballpoint pens, construction paper, scans, composite, 2015

Apoko-Lips – The Great Work #4 (Prototype)

Exciting New Art – My 6-year-old isn’t too pleased that I’ve used up all his construction paper.

Hello again art lovers!

I hope all is well in your worlds.  I’ve just about come to the end in the creation of a new phase of my Apoko-Lips series.  As you can see from the image below, I’ve been experimenting quite a bit.  At least for now, I have decided to exclude the emulsion process and focus more on the photography.  This idea first came about during the conception of the new pieces titled Apoko-Lips – Barbarous Names.  So far, I am pleased with the results.  I’m getting to paint more with watercolor again.  The downside has been that my 6-year-old isn’t too pleased that I’ve used up all his construction paper.

What Does Sloth (From Goonies) & Obey Giant Propaganda Have in Common?

What does Sloth (From Goonies) & Obey Giant propaganda have in common?

Absolutely nothing, but that didn’t stop me from making a correlation when I conceived this piece in 2013.

Anyway,  “Philistine #1” was sold and delivered to a collector with a rather robust sense of humor and I’m glad.

Check out more works HERE.

Until next time,

Retarded New Video/Morning Warm up Pieces + Finishing up “Bear Beast” Commission

Hi again,

I’ve made some good progress on the “Bear Beast/Pipe Fetish” commission.  Should be finishing it up today or tomorrow. It’s a little tricky because I’m having to use small brushes…soft small brushes that is.  I prefer stiffer bristles for oil.  Note to self….pick up some small “Stiff” brushes! Anyway, I had hoped to keep the pallete a little more simple, but there are many different gradients in the flesh of the reference study I created prior to actually putting paint to paper….I paint from observation mainly…so the various tones are showing up in actual painting.

I started doing daily “Warm up” pieces again prior to studio work.  I had forgotten how well these loosen me up prior to studio work.  Here are a couple.

Also, in my free time, I made a rather retarded, but well produced video short featuring the “Studies for upcoming oils” that I blogged about last week.  I always try to make my videos fun, so give it look and feel free to tell me what you think.

Until next time,
