New Apoko-Lips – The Bard Sings “Birds May Fly”

Hello internet,

I’ve been so busy, not to mention incredibly excited, because my brain has been on fire with concepts for new art works.  Toward the beginning of 2016, I felt like my long-term, now prophetic, series Apoko-Lips had come to its natural conclusion with the completion of the large-scale canvas titled “Excappare”, but recent events have shown me otherwise.  It seems Apoko-Lips isn’t through with me just yet.  I feel like the time is ripe for this work, but if I’m wrong, I suppose I’ll see it through anyway.

Is the state of the world getting you down? Is all the blatant inversion of reality frying your brain, leaving you confused and/or mentally deranged? If so, this is one’s for you.

“Birds may fly,
And shit in your eye,
And you might shoot em’ down with a slingshot,
Cats may cry,
Keep you up all night,
Meowing outside in the park,
And you may sip your milk,
And if your milk is spilt,
Do your best not to cry,
But if you do,
Just think of me,
And laugh until you’re high,
HA,HA, HA,
HA, HA, HA,
HA, HA, HA,
HA, HA, HA, HA!”

I won’t say too much at the moment, but I’m experimenting  with story lines and new methods to expand on previous additions of Apoko-Lips such as “Behold The Son Of GRID”, “The M.R. MIRACLE MYTHOS” As shown above, I’m also adding a new addition titled “The Bard Sings”.   These exciting new pieces won’t be on my website for a while,

but….

On Trojan Horses, The #Goonpopulous & Worldwide Pedo Busts

Hello internet,

The progressive and tolerant #goonpopulous showed its ass off at yet again, this time at Berkeley University the night before last.  The violent protest, or riot, is said to have been initiated over a homosexual journalist named Milo Yiannopolis of Breitbart News  , being scheduled to give a talk.  I know, crazy right?

philistine_two

Now, if you haven’t witnessed the violent temper tantrum just yet, or simply don’t believe me, take a look at the footage in the videos below.

Video by Paul Joseph Watson.

If you are currently or recently have been setting things on fire, damaging property, physically assaulting individuals or groups with opposing views, funding or organizing this angry mob, or blindly accepting and spreading ‘news’ with no actual evidence behind it, the statement in this new piece may be meant for you.

On Trojan Horses

“Perhaps you were transformed into an ill-informed simpleton by the prolonged misuse of ‘smart’ technology.”

If the statement above happens to apply to you, know that the revolution has happened already & you missed it. I’d like to include this urgent message of 4 Beatles from across time for the #goonpopulous

Listen carefully.

On a brighter note, the worldwide pedophile ring is unraveling fast. Tons of arrests made around the planet. 474 arrests made, I believe on February 2, 2017, in Los Angeles alone. Google it for more info.

And they said it was a conspiracy.

On Internet Ghettos

Hello internet,

Internet ghettos very often, are one of two things. They are safe lullaby chambers where one will coo while being soothed with only what is ideologically acceptable to them, or heavily fortified keeps where one can rage with little hope of affecting change. I would also add that the Internet ghetto, for the truly deranged, acts as a mirrored echo chamber base of operations from which the user’s image is repeatedly thrust into the matrix and reflected back at them. Desperate pleas such as “Look at me, look at me, look at me!” reverberate throughout the system, add infinitum.  What shall we do now?

internet_ghettos

What about a holiday? I have always taken breaks for social media, mainly to create new work, but since 2013, the breaks have become longer and more contemplative. It’s funny how clear things can become, both internally and externally, once you pull the matrix plug out of your ass and start walking in the waking world again. I won’t say that disengaging from the system is a cure for all ailments, but it’s a start, and when you reenter the internet ghetto of your choice, either for leisure or necessity, you see the construct for what it is and not what it appears to be.

2013 ‘Pussy Hat’ Prophesy & More

Hello internet,

I’m sure many of you are frightened, but don’t worry, it’s all worked out.

I haven’t posted a blog since November, after the election.  No, I’ve been setting back watching things develop.  Now, I don’t trust one source of news completely, so I look around and compare what different sources are covering and reporting.  After the massive fail and blatant proof of bias, I have thrown off mainstream media outlets such as the Washington Post, CNN, The New York Times, almost completely.  I still venture over to see what spin these networks are putting on current events, but that’s about it.  I’ve heard from a little bird, that these company’s audiences are all suffering and have dwindled down to almost nothing, but that’s only what I’ve heard.

Some interesting developments concerning groups affected, or some might say warped, by prolonged exposure to identity politics have surfaced again the last week or so, and these goons are really showing their asses off.  In fact, after setting in contemplation since the November 8th election, I have discovered more examples of prophesy contained in my 2013 – 2016 art creations, namely in the collections, “Art Is My Way Of Chucking Civilization Out The Window” and of course, “Apoko-Lips”.    Today well take a look at one in particular.

ckirk_csfifteen_b This large-scale museum piece was painted with oil between the years of 2012 and 2013.  It’s titled “It’s Like Having A Gun You Can Pet #2″ or “Pet Gun 2” for short.  Now you can clearly see, in the left-hand corner, the fleeing female, painted with much less fervor, wearing a ‘pussy hat’.  Now before you call me a misogynist, let me tell you that I fully support feminism in its classical form, but what we’re dealing with today is not classic feminism.  No the ideology has been gradually altered via long-term social engineering methods and now we have neo feminism, which is essentially the philosophy that women should be elevated above their male counterparts and are the superior gender.  Now this is totally unbalanced and goes against philosophies that have illustrated the importance of balance in nature for almost 3000 years.  If you factor in the point that there are and have been, far more individuals of male gender, on the planet, at any given time, as there were Jews to be murdered during Adolf Hitler’s reign of terror, the philosophy of neo feminism is clearly shown to be on a higher level of ‘fucked up’ and more dangerous to the human species than Nazi ideology ever was. There is a reason Wonder Woman left Amazon Island ladies.

Anyway, here’s the bad news.  My prophesies generally manifest in some form or other and this 2013  oil piece doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the neo feminists or their ‘pussy hat’ dupes.  It’s clear the pussyhatter is fleeing.  She’s fading.  Her pursuing counterpart is richly colored and the oil is thick.  There is a prehistoric terror bird called Gastornis, which was an apex predator that had no natural  predators of its own.  The masked figure rides the feathery beast like a horse, symbolizing power, and birds flock behind, giving chase as well.  In ancient mystery traditions from around the world, feathers, wings, or birds were symbolic of higher intelligence, so basically, your incredibly flawed ideology is squared off against balance.  The dynamic combination of power and intelligence is against you. You are a piece of the #goonpopulous.  You are beta bitches, and the real, authentic women of the world will not be swayed by your quest for gender supremacy.

To give you a metaphoric example of what I’m talking about, I’ll provide you with a visual aid.  Here’s an crude stop-motion cartoon I made back in 2013.

Now, if you, the reader, think I am being harsh on these misguided simpletons, take a look at some examples from the women’s march that you probably won’t catch watching mainstream media stations such as CNN, reading drivel like the Washington Post, or hanging around in such internet ghettos as Facebook.

No Parking, No Standing, & No Halloween

Hello again art lovers!

I hope you’ve all had a good week thus far.

This week I’m doing something different.  I wrote this funny little story on a cold, wet day last february while residentially challenged.  Every time I read the tale I get the giggles and  it reminds me of  stories like “The Night before Christmas” and “A Clockwork Orange”.  Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading the story as much as I enjoyed writing it.

“No Parking, No Standing & No Halloween”

Once upon a time there was a guy named Pete.

He was mild-mannered since he gave up the drink.

In fact, it had been quite a long while.

Since then he had gained a cat, wife, and child.

Anyway, Halloween drew close.

It was awfully near,

So Pete beat the streets and had a few beers.

There was a neighborhood with big houses and people behind where he lived.

Excited, he wondered what kind of treats they would give.

Candy corn and caramel apples danced in his head, but when he entered the neighborhood, there were no decorations, the place was dead.

Pete was awfully angry, he wanted to scream.

There were scores of signs which read,

“NO PARKING, NO STANDING, AND NO HALLOWEEN!”

There were signs warning, “NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH!”

Their safes were all safe and everything was locked.

These people were scared.  Pete didn’t know what about.

They didn’t want Halloween.  TRICKR’R TREATERS stay out!

“Why these bastards, these jerks, these twerps, these creeps!  Who in the hell doesn’t love Halloween?”

The day finally came.  It was all Hallow’s Eve.

Some time had went past, but Pete was still peeved.

He was alone, so he went out to celebrate.

He drank beer, vodka, then whiskey until it was awfully late.

Pete headed for home, but then had an idea.

He would visit the neighbors and play on their fear.

He spay painted phallus’ on streets and on signs, on lamp posts and on long cement drives.

These phallus’ were huge, much bigger than mine!

Pete hit the whole neighborhood, house by house.

He was sly as a fox and quiet as a mouse.

When Pete finally came to the spree’s end,

He wiped his brow with a glove and gave a big grin.

The next morning though, Pete remembered and was terribly scared, but after a while he knew there was nothing to fear.

He was lucky.  Pete wasn’t at all sick and he let out a hearty belly laugh at the thought of his trick.

What Pete did was terrible and really pretty mean, but now those big people back there had a reason to hate Halloween.

The Black Wolf That Carries The Stolen Bag Of Countless Treasures – New Watercolor Studies

Hello again art lovers!

I hope all is well in your worlds.

I’m excited.  I’ve completed a few newer watercolors, two which I very pleased with.  A couple of the new pieces a more detailed works and  after spending a handful of days on the, more involved watercolors, I  decided to go back to studies that are less time consuming and more playful.  In some regards, I feel like the simple, whimsical illustrations suit the story better.

ckirk_kakhati_one-2

ckirk_kakhati_one-1The tale centers around an amnesiac who lives alone on an island.  As a result of a frustrating, zen-like conversation with a hungry pelican that swooped down to steal his roasted fish, the amnesiac is charged with a perilous quest and dubbed the “Old fool”.  The old fool must find the black wolf that carries the stolen of bag of countless treasures.  Inside the bag are three items which will console the weeping dragon.

ckirk_kakhati_one

I was thrilled after finishing “The Black Wolf” piece above.  For me, the quick little watercolor is simple and strong.  That’s probably why I’m so captivated by it.  I could’ve done a little more work in the background, but I left it out.  Speaking of background, many of the illustrations for the story will need to include the setting, so I’ve been studying up on painting landscapes with watercolor. Hopefully, I’ll have some aptitude there.  We’ll see.

dsc09731

I love the “Spring Dragon” Piece (Above) very much.  It really took an enormous amount of patience and a lot of work to get the watercolor so rich.  I don’t know how Alex Ross does it.  Anyway, as far as I’m concerned, the time and patience paid off.

img_0016The Old Fool study above is still in progress.  I’ve used little pools of watercolor to form the image and inserted some very visible brush strokes here and there for contrast.  We’ll see how it turns out.

Until next timehave a great week.

The Fox – New Watercolors

Hello again art lovers!

I hope all is well in your worlds.

I’m good.  I’ve completed a few newer watercolors.  I love how all the little pools of watercolor work together to form an image.  Anyway, they’re little more than quick studies, but now that my epic is finished, I have a treasure trove of rich, fanciful imagery stored up in the ol’ dream machine.
